'Believe' the 7th album by the stunning Katherine Jenkins is released on October 26th.
Since moving labels earlier this year to Warner Bros Records Katherine has, under the stewardship of producer David Foster, made her most ambitious album to date.
Katherine spent the spring of 2009 in LA at Foster's studio. "Katherine's voice is right up there with the best" says Foster who has worked with massive international stars including Whitney Houston, Céline Dion and Barbra Streisand. "Over the forty years I’ve been in the business, Katherine has to be one of the most unique talents I’ve ever worked with. This record we’ve made I’m immensely proud of”.
With a broad mix of contemporary and traditional repertoire the record not only delivers for existing fans but will also broaden her audience across the globe. From the haunting Sarah McLachlan song, ‘Angel’, through to a stunning working of 90’s Evanescence’s ‘Bring Me To Life’, the mezzo soprano’s unique vocal interpretations bind seamlessly with Foster’s arrangement and production.
In addition to the October 26th release of the 'Believe' album, Katherine will embark on a major, 11 date UK arena tour in March 2010.
