The name Mungo Jerry conjures up images of big hair, impressive sideburns and memories of their biggest hit ‘In the Summertime’ which even though written 40 years ago remains the biggest selling song of all time. The man behind Mungo Jerry is Ray Dorset, who is responsible for writing all of the Mungo Jerry hits in addition to writing hits for other artists and television shows. November 2009 sees Mungo Jerry embark on a series of shows where Ray and the band will be performing the most important songs of their career with the opportunity to join forces some of the great musicians and friends Ray has worked with over the past four decades.
